Full Bath Project
Brittany is in love with this bathroom! Funny things, It's probably her favorite room so far in the entire home. This room was a huge change for the room in comparison to how it started. This room started off with:
- Old sliding glass doors secured on the bathtub
- Basic, gold light over the sink
- Storage closet with 3 old aluminum shelves
- Toilet paper holder attached to the side of the vanity, directly next to the toilet (too close)
- A pale, light blue wall
- Chrome colored hardware
Following the transformation... the results were beautiful! The bathroom is covered in a natural green, the tub has a nature themed (with leaves and branches) curtain, held by a sturdy bronze rod. The toilet paper holder was moved off of the vanity and a stand-alone holder (that doubles as a magazine/book holder) was placed standing on the floor. Brittany then had her husband, and father assist in custom creating their storage closet, with real wooden shelves, 2 vintage woven baskets and some other miscellaneous decorations to add a modern feel. And last of all, the light was replaced by a painted bronze light, which helps to offset the green behind it.
Overall, when walking into this room, you feel relaxed and all worries are gone with the nature and modern design surrounding you. In the future we plan to add some air-stone to the outside of the bath to add some character, take out the old tile and add a wooden floor!
